Rules to follow in the kitchen

What rules should be observed in the kitchen?

Always thoroughly clean all utensils (bread baking machine, slicer, etc.); if these utensils were previously in contact with foods containing gluten, traces may remain on their surface and contaminate the food.

If possible, use a toaster reserved for gluten-free bread or, if necessary, slide the gluten-free bread in a special bag (eg toastabags®).

Avoid contact between gluten-containing foods and gluten-free foods, provide a separate kitchen cabinet for gluten-free products.

For frying, do not use the same frying bath as for breaded products or fritters made with flour from one of the prohibited cereals.

Never grind gluten-free cereals in a mill in which grains containing gluten are ground.

Never make gluten-free pasta in a pasta machine previously used for making gluten-free pasta.
