General Assembly 2021

The constraints due to the regulations in force concerning the pandemic led the board of directors to make a choice how to hold our AGM. To facilitate the procedure for all our members, the general assembly will be held, like last year, by correspondence. A letter will be sent to you at the beginning of June with the agenda and the resolutions to be executed.

Nutrition and cancer

A large number of cancers (about 40%) are attributable to preventable risk factors, with about 18% due to nutritional factors. A distinction is made between nutritional factors increasing the risk of cancer and factors reducing the risk of cancer. In Europe we can cite the following two examples: overconsumption of alcohol and low consumption of dairy products, see the linked posters to find out more.

Celiac disease and medical follow-up

The health crisis is not the only reason why people with celiac disease are somewhat neglecting the monitoring of their general health. However, celiac disease is a chronic disease and it is strongly recommended to monitor it more or less regularly as we would for any other lifelong disease. Please consult the table to get an overview of what to discuss together with your treating physician.

Renowned in Switzerland

In the culinary world in Switzerland, the name of Betti Bossi appears frequently. Not only has she developed good recipes and recently published a digital gluten-free recipe magazine, but she has also marketed her own culinary tools. Here is an extract on how to make your gluten-free pastry, as well as around twenty recipes to enjoy at home.
