ALIG 25th anniversary event

The ALIG board wishes to take up the challenge of not limiting itself to a single event to celebrate its 25th anniversary, but of organizing several events. We will begin on October 23, 2022 with a cultural activity for the whole family ending with a gluten-free snack. The official invitation will reach you in the coming days.

Alert to the growing number of obese people

Obesity is a serious illness. The growing trend is accentuated by the health crisis due to restrictions imposed by governments. Especially young celiacs who are overweight at the time of diagnosis require our full attention. (See extracts from studies under this link).

When obesity sets in at a young age, the harm to health is particularly dangerous. The environment contributes to this, particularly in terms of sedentary lifestyle. If most adolescents use screens reasonably, nearly one in eight young people have problematic screen usage. Check out this flyer to help them change their habits around screens.

Local News

Following our meeting with the managers of the catering service at Luxair, ALIG updated its website websites important information to consult when booking a gluten-free tray on a Luxair flight. Two new addresses to discover in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in Diekirch, the Cafe No. 12, where wert gluten-free breakfast and lunch and the pizzeria in the city center Girotondo, which has just set up a separate kitchen for preparing gluten-free dishes.

The assembly of the ALIG recipe booklet is nearing the final line! In the meantime, we are sending you several mouth-watering recipes.
