Allergen warning
The Ministry of Consumer Protection has established a system of allergen alerts and warning notifications on his site.
ALIG advises its members to register on the website.
The government informed us that Delhaize Luxembourg received a press release from the producer TADAL SA that the product "Köfte Harci" of the brand "BAKTAT" was provided with a label not mentioning the presence of the wheat allergen (gluten). And removes the product from its shelves. See text.
Read for you
An article written by Swiss physician Dr. Wiesel on endoscopy technique, its history and its future (see PDF). Endoscopy is above all an inevitable means in monitoring celiac disease while a biopsy is used primarily for diagnosis. The quality of biopsy diagnosis varies depending on location, number, size and orientation. Mucosal lesions may be scattered, so it is essential to take several biopsies in different locations:
4 duodenal biopsies at the distal level and 2 biopsies at the bulb level.

Gluten-free fast food
It's hard to resist fast food, even for coeliacs. But you can buy them and consume them without remorse from time to time. Here are 2 of the latest discoveries seen in stores in Luxembourg.
To balance your meal, add lots of cooked vegetables or salads as accompaniments, then for dessert, for example a plain dairy product or fruit.
