Suitability criteria – Blood stem cell donation for transplant

The Ministry of Health has confirmed to us that as a precautionary principle patients with celiac disease are excluded as donors. CD, being an autoimmune disease an overreaction of the immune system in the recipient may be enhanced or triggered in the process. So it is possible that the autoimmune disease is “transplanted” from the donor to the recipient.. These criteria are drawn up in accordance with applicable national and international legislation, standards and directives and are regularly updated by the responsible group of specialists. However, the final decision will rest with the doctor responsible for the register and the transplant doctor.

Children's weekend

The children's weekend for our young members will take place from September 28 to 29 in Scheidgen (see the invitation for details). The weekend will take place on September 29 and 30. Registration required before September 15 by sending the registration form, the medical form and the authorization to use photos to download here or on our web page under children's weekend event.

Zwetschgenkuchen

In August in Luxembourg the traditional “Quetschen” are harvested. So to honor the local fruits of the season, we have added a recipe (in German) for a delicious damson cake. See it video, see it recipe.
