The board of directors decided tocancel the child's weekend dated September 19, 2020 following the exceptional situation linked to Covid-19. Depending on the health measures in force, a one-day meeting for children will be rescheduled in the program in the fall.
The general meeting by means of written circular resolutions had a response rate of 20% (80 ballots returned out of 398 ballots sent). The various points submitted to the vote were all approved by a very large majority of the votes cast (96% "yes" votes), and a few abstentions, particularly regarding the future composition of the board of directors.

The board of directors thanks all voting members for allowing ALIG, through their vote, to fulfill its legal obligations during this exceptional period of health crisis.

Sorghum: a little-known GF cereal

Sorghum (similar to millet) is part of the diet of many populations around the world. We find recipes for sorghum in porridge, tortillas or couscous in Africa, India or Mexico for example. Sorghum crops in Europe are expanding, and this small grain (similar to millet) is rich in starch, iron and fiber. Its carbohydrate and protein content is almost identical to that of wheat or corn (see folder). You find 2 recipes here.

Health before all

Homemade gluten-free bread is often much more appetizing than industrial bread and it is also without additives. We discovered a blog Interesting German on bread with advice, recipes that can be integrated into the gluten-free diet of celiacs (recipe for buckwheat bread for example). If necessary, consult the infographic summarizing some generalized tips to get a better result from your bread. For people short on time, we are pointing out a new range of products at the La Provençale store (see poster).
